Certification Processes

Armstrong Aerospace engineers and staff have a long-time understanding of regulatory agency certification practices. Our engineers and sales support staff have access to Federal Aviation Administration Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) and Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) as well as JAA STC and JAA Form 1. This dual capability provides customers with exceptional quality in a global marketplace.

Our staff of engineers have experience in working on over one hundred certification projects involving the FAA and Foreign Certification Authorities (UKCAA, LBA, DGAC, etc.).

Armstrong Aerospace retains a number of FAA Designated Engineering Representatives (DER's) and Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DAR's) who specialize in a wide range of Aircraft modifications and testing.
