Armstrong Aerospace Staff

Armstrong Aerospace's staff is comprised of engineers with education and experience in structures, aerodynamics, design, and systems. Additionally, there are personnel who specialize in preparing manufacturing and assembly drawings using multiple CAD systems.

An experienced staff consisting of electrical and structural design engineers, systems engineers, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) and Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DARs), with major airline and equipment manufacturer experience, results in an in-depth understanding of airline operational, industrial and marketing constraints.

Facilities/Tools

Armstrong Aerospace is well-equipped with competent and experienced engineers, a resource center complete with data and methodologies indicating design and analysis procedures, computer programs for Computer Aided Design (CAD), loads and stress analysis (both exact analysis and finite element methods), and fatigue and damage tolerance.

Our facilities include complete analytical capability using PC platforms. Armstrong Aerospace has a Windows NT Server and each workstation has Internet access. Analysis programs include CAD, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), aircraft loads analyses, fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, mathematics programs, graphics programs, spreadsheets, numerical analysis, and statistics programs.
