Armstrong Aerospace possesses Supplemental Type Certificates (STC’s) for both the provisions and activation of multiple satellite antenna system installations on a variety of commercial aircraft. This includes retrofitting the aircraft with aerodynamically designed radome structures to house satellite antenna components. The STC data package includes aerodynamic analysis of the radome structure as well as the structural design, analysis and substantiation of the loading members tasked with safely transferring the aerodynamic radome loads to the existing aircraft structure.
